Appearance : A pretty pale yellow colour with flashes of pink and gold with a stream of tiny bubbles that rise to form a crown of persistent effervescence.
Nose : Rich and generous like a basket of fresh fruit (damson, strawberry and pear) After a few moments to breathe notes of toast, dried fruit and hazelnut add a pleasing complexity.
Palate : Refreshing yet fleshy with notes of red fruit (cherries and strawberries). Pleasantly rounded and easy on the palate with a suggestion of blood oranges and vine peaches on the finish.
Food matching : A versatile champagne that matches well with a number of dishes, but it is especially enjoyable on its own as an aperitif, or with roast pigeon.
Awards : Gold medal at the Concours Général Agricole de Paris 2017 and 2016, silver medal in 2018. Gold medal at the Concours des Champagnes du Vignoble Epernay 2017, 2015, 2014 and 2013. Silver medal in 2016.Guide Dussert-Gerber des Vins 2017 and 2015. Guide Hachette des Vins 2014.
